What Are Craniofacial Abnormalities?

Craniofacial anomalies (CFA) are a group of deformities in the growth of the skull and facial bones. These abnormalities are congenital (present at birth) and there are numerous variations. These occur on a broad spectrum. Some may be mild and others may require reconstructive surgery.
