Abby Colletti: Born February 2001

Abby was born February 5th, 2001. At 11 months of age we learned of Abby's diagnosis; HPE. It has been difficult to find comfort knowing that HPE brings many medical complications. Learning to manage all of her symptoms has taken practice and patience. Our journey over the past 5 years has brought many changes to our family. We have learned many important lessons about life and have become more loving and compassionate as a result.



Abby continues to make progress with development and is very happy, she also continues to teach others with her loving ways and sets examples without words. Abby is a delight, and I am proud to say that I am her mom. Five years ago our lives changed. No matter how difficult days may be, taking care of Abby makes me complete.
